Ozone Plates:
• Clean the ozone plate(s) at
least once a month using a mixture of 1/2 ammonia & 1/2
water, & use a brush (i.e. toothbrush) to scrub them,
rinse them off with water, and make sure they are completely
dry before reinstalling in ozone plate cage.
• The more contamination in
an environment that the machine is in, the more often the
plates need to be cleaned.
Rear Lint Screen:
• Vacuuming of the rear lint
screen when you clean the plates will be more than enough in
most cases. If the rear lint screen becomes too dirty to clean
with the vacuum, you can soak the metal mesh lint screen in
soap and water and back flush it out (dirty side down). Make
sure that the lint screen is completely dry before
reinstalling into the machine.
• The more contamination in
an environment that the machine is in, the more often the rear
lint screen needs to be cleaned.
Stainless Steel Contacts
& White Plastic Standoffs:
• These need to be cleaned
with alcohol and a cotton swab when cleaning the ozone
plates.
• The more contamination in
an environment that the machine is in, the more often the
stainless steel contacts & white plastic standoffs need to
be cleaned.
